A dream born from two creative minds with passion and a clear vision came alive in Abuja. Tamerri meaning the beloved land was organized by Root n Raw bringing into perspective the creative and artistic potentials within the FCT, Nigeria and across Africa.
The two-day event which held on the 22nd and 23rd of April, 2016 at the Sarius Palmetium and Botanic Garden in Abuja was themed “Appreciating Interconnectedness”. It was filled with fun, engaging, interactive and informative activities like workout/fitness, workshops, photo/art exhibition, fashion show, village market, traditional masquerade display, music concerts amongst many others. It provided an avenue for aspiring, upcoming and established artists to interact, share ideas and build strategic relationships.
A colourful cultural display from traditional dancers across Nigeria was on of the major highlights of the event.
