The beauty industry in Nigeria is going up, and there’s no stopping it. Gone are the days that you have to order, or wait till you travel abroad before purchasing a good makeup product. Below are top 5 Nigerian beauty brands that create amazing products, which you should definitely consider trying out.

Zaron –

From 2016 till now, Zaron has been rebranding and I am here for it. With the current packaging and aesthetics new beauty brands are releasing every day, it no surprise that zaron felt the need to rebrand and come out with amazing new packages. This brand is dedicated to the enhancement of the wellbeing and quality of lives of all people, and it achieves this through the development, marketing, distribution and sale of quality lifestyle products. My favourite products from this brand is their XD Face definer, Eye Liner pencil, Gel liner, Perfect Finish spray and Mattifying powder.

House of Tara –

House of Tara is no ordinary beauty brand, it’s now one of the biggest makeup brands. Founder, Tara Fela-Durotoye has become a game changer in the beauty industry. Being in the industry for over 16 years really does make one a veteran. House of Tara has become one of the most trusted and most used makeup in the years past, A list of products the brand offers include foundation, Lip pencils, Mattifying face primer, Volume boosting mascara, Blusher, Lip stick, Brow fix, Brush wash and Powder. YangaBeauty –

This brand has received so much praise for their Browlution brow pencil. According to makeup artist, beauty inflencers and YouTubers this is the brow pencils of all brow pencils. It’s a soft pencil that helps you achieve the most natural looking brows. To prove that their brand isn’t a one hit wonder, they came out with another raved about product, an amazing loose pigment highlighter called candid glow.Other products they have include the set to go setting spray, Eyessurance shadow primer, Arielle Eyeshadow palette, Pryme Matte primer, Eyetitude eye pencil, Glitters, Lashes, Blending Sponge and Liquid matte lipstick.

Nuban beauty –

Nuban Beauty produced a sensational pro blending sponge set that has got everybody on the block talking. Like how did they do it? How did a local brand create such an amazing sponge that is currently being compared to the original beauty blender? Well we do not have the answers to these questions. Nevertheless, we couldn’t be more proud. Their eyeshadow pallets, luxury mink lashes, mini lipstick collection, and luxurious brush set are to be applauded. Their goal is to provide quality and affordable makeup products specifically for the African woman, which is great because the African woman is also out there looking for affordable and qualitative beauty products that she can get without breaking the bank.
